The new deal
Changes from the previous eras
The government was involved now more than ever in attempt to aid the people and stop the depression. Since people were out of work they were basically lost souls and the government needed to step in and guide them.
Core American Values
During the New Deal Roosevelt was able to instill Nationalism into the American people. He gave them hope towards a brighter future which got them excited about their country and where it was going.
Work ethic was a major value seen in the American people since majority of Americans were out of work. They went out and searched for whatever job that they could find and would hire them.
Direct relief was able to help those in need since it provided food and money from the government to the people who were unemployed.
